Is this real? How have I not heard about this yet? Projected MPG: 106. Projected price for a 6 passenger model: $18K. And it produces half the pollution of a Prius. They're taking orders mid 2009 and delivering 2010. Now I kind of feel like I live in the future. Hover-boards, where are you?!

I read an article about this German car recently. Better gas mileage too. They just pushed backlaunch date from 2009 to 2010:
